6.10 Obsidian 7/2 only really has to repeat lto 3rd , up a lb but down in class.

6.40 Cogent 7s caught the eye lto at chelmsford when running on , dropped a lb and think it should be thereabouts

710 Coponova e/w 12s - h/cap debutant "cough cough" , ran well on 2nd start , can be forgiven chester run. 7f looks the trip

7.40 Swilly Sunset e/w 8s could be one for h.caps but at least has runs under its belt , soft ground blamed for lto so connections will hoping for better on all weather

8.10 Archaic 7/4 is short but applebys usually improve , only btn 4L , market speaks in favour.

9.10 Can you Reverse 5/1 hasnt troubled the judge but has dropped to an attractive mark and sports the first time blinkers.

2 winners tonight at 7/4 and 9/1 , Swilly Sunset done just enough to have an advantage in last furlong as 2nd was rattling home.

Ones worth following from tonights meet are

King Torus rated in 100s as a 4yo , now 7yo and was able to race off 81 , has 2 wins and a place on all weather now from 4 runs so unexposed to surface and worth a watch over the winter.
Compel won with Sing Something rattling home
Estidraak flew home in final furlong to get 2nd , had to go outside a runner so if not for that it might have won , looks a sure fire winner nto.
Archaic still looked greeen when winning but 2nd rated 78 and hopefully isnt penalised too heavily for this narrow maiden win
Outback Blue and Izlam have now had 3 runs and on todays evidence wouldnt be too far away in nurseries , only going to be rated from 65 to 75 at most so potential to improve.added them all to tracker and see what happens.

start with

2.15 Worcester Relentless Dreamer 1pt win 11/2

Might not win but i was drawn to Rebecca Curtis record in chases at track , 8 wins , 2 seconds and 5 finished in 3rd from 20 runners. 1/1 with aspell.
Showed good hurdle form when behind Zeroshadesofgrey (140) and when 2nd to Kingscourt Native (140) and takes to fences for first time today.
No siblings as far as i can see and dam unraced but dam sire produces high quality chasers.

2.25 Fontwell General Ginger 11/8 w/o favourite

Has to give weight away but arrives in good nick having won two on the bounce , has form at LH and sharp tracks and doesnt lack a recent run.
Fav debut looks the outstanding form in the race and should be tough to beat.

pleasing effort on chase debut jumped well , looked like race fitness told in closing stages.

Nothing in pedigree shouts a mile and a quarter so strange they ran it over that distance lto , drops in trip and ran well on all weather previously, jock takes off 3

7.25 Drive on ew 25/1

Still has to prove stamina for trip but ran ok over CD latest and don't think it should be this price

7.55 Shanghai Glory 5/1

I'll be honest it's the crowley factor , with his ride in the following a nr , he only has one ride.
Highly tried since cl5 win , should find this easier.

8.25 Commodore win 10/3 consistent which sometimes hinders than helps but solid course form can only help

8.55 pickle lilly pearl 6/1

Thought this 7f suits this one , bit one paced.
Couldn't take 7/4 on fav, looks poor value

3.45 Ludlow Ascotdeux Nellerie 5/4

Won at course on debut quite easily and getting 7lbs from Angus Glens should prove enough on hurdling debut.

4.15 Jayandbee 9/2

Has been given a chance by h/capper , dropped 5lbs in last two runs.wasnt beaten far off 111 and off 103 today should be competitive.
1/1 at course
 
slight , very slight profit on the day with the first winning well after the last.

3.20 Chelt Dark Spirit each-way 12/1

Keep getting drawn to this one , ran a decent enough race in the mares race at cheltenham festival , jumped well in the main just looked like it didnt quicken when the pace was lifted.
Ran at cheltenham beforehand and only beaten a nk in a competitive handicap hurdle off 112.
Then followed that run with a win off 115 and raised 16lbs which took it to better company , 2L defeat in listed race , 11L defeat in grade 2 to Bitofapuzzle.
Won last year when fresh at Ludlow so being off 200 odd days shouldnt really affect it.
Williams had a win and a place at last years october meeting from two runners so maybe he'll strike lucky again.
 
Dark spirit into 11/2 , just needs to run well

4.30 Drumlee Sunset 5/4

Won bumper lto in decent fashion and a winner of a ptp so at least it jumps well enough , yard in good nick as is Johnson and price will look big come 4.40
 
Did a place pot at Cheltenham to keep me interested

Backed this two days ago when 5th , still maintain it needs 7f , poor race and doesn't look badly treated with Martin lane doing the steering tonight
